VILNIUS Arik Armstead Womens Jersey , May 8 (Xinhua) -- Lithuanian economy is well prepared for euro adoption, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Executive Board said in its statement released on Thursday.

"The pursuit of prudent policies has led to robust balanced growth, falling inflation, and strengthened public finances, thereby placing Lithuania on track for euro adoption in January 2015," the IMF's Board of Directors was quoted in the report.

The introduction of euro will strengthen Lithuania's financial stability, reduce risk and foster further European integration, the Fund believes.

Lithuania comfortably meets all official euro criteria in the meantime. The EU will take a final decision about the country's membership in the euro zone in July.

Healthy and balanced growth can be observed in Lithuanian economy but the Baltic country still lags behind its Western European associates in terms of income per capita, the IMF noted.

According to the report, Lithuania's real GDP should surpass the peak pre-crisis level of 2008 for the first time this year. The Fund expects the country's economy to grow at 3.3 percent in 2014.

Implementation of further structural reforms leading to improved competitiveness and tackling the country's uncomfortably high structural unemployment are among other recommendations to Lithuania by the IMF.

In its separate assessment of all three Baltic countries announced also on Thursday, the IMF praised the region's strong economic recovery from the 2008-2009 global financial crises, but also warned of anemic credit market which could harm investment and growth.

Every day when you walk out of your home or apartment, you put yourself at risk, probably without even knowing it. Especially if you live in a dense metropolitan area, where there is a lot of traffic circulating at almost all times of the day and night, you are at risk due to a wide variety of circumstances which are out of your control. Any pedestrian is completely unprotected in the event that he or she gets struck by a vehicle, which could be as small as a moped or large is a semi-truck.

In the best of circumstances, the impact will be minimal. You might just get knocked to the ground, suffering no more than a bruise or scrape. But in more serious circumstances, the accident can have grave consequences. However, you could be more seriously injured. You could have superficial injuries, such as a broken arm or leg, or something more serious involving the internal organs. These situations can be very complicated and dangerous, because if there's internal bleeding for any reason, it must be located and stopped immediately. Hopefully, you can recover within a few days or weeks, but the effects of the accident can have long-term consequences. Depending on the seriousness of the accident, you may require long-term physical therapy to regain use of all your body’s functions. There are also hidden and harmful psychological consequences to such an accident. Only you can really know what you're going through and how the trauma of the accident is affecting relationships with your family, your friends and co-workers. In the most serious of cases, you may never be the same as before, either physically or psychologically.

The time spent recovering, either in the hospital or at home, means that you’re not working, and that obviously implies a loss of wages. If the recovery period is extended, you could perhaps even lose your job. Then, of course, there are the medical bills, which can be quite extensive even with adequate insurance. They can continue to pile up through your recovery period, and can reach such a large amount that they are impossible to pay.

Regardless of how potentially insignificant your accident might seem, you should immediately hire a professional pedestrian accident lawyer. They are there to protect your best interests and those of your family. They will not only establish the culpability of the driver involved in the accident, but also have direct contact with the hospital and doctors involved. They can make sure that your medical bills are covered by the party responsible and that you receive proper and fair compensation for all of your pain, suffering, and financial losses as a result of the accident. A good pedestrian accident lawyer will become your best ally to fight for your rights.

If you should ever be involved in such an accident, among the first things you should do is contact a qualified pedestrian accident lawyer. Among the best in this field are the lawyers at Meshbesher & Spence. They will review your case to ensure that you have a valid claim and help you maximize the financial benefits that are your right.
